Prague-based puppet theater and performance crew Hura Collective presents a haunting puppet performance from their cycle of dark adaptations of K.J. Erben’s fairy tales.

K.J. Erben (1811-1870), a Czech folklorist and writer of 19th-century fantasy prose, followed in the footsteps of the Gebrüder Grimm. VLASY (meaning "hair") references the three golden hairs and forms the first part of the story HAIR – EYES – DEATH, inspired by Erben’s tales.

In this performance, the King, obsessed with chasing game in the woods, is eventually consumed by his evil deeds, destined to chase forever. The story unfolds with drowned princesses, revived skeletons, shadows, and live sounds from the springs, all weaving together an eerie and atmospheric tale.
